Horizon’s group working on House in Tripp-update June 2008
More work has been done to the house and it will have the interior paint work done this week and finishing touches to the walls. A new bathroom was added to the baasement and the new wiring has been inspected. New topsoil was added around the outside of the house to make the drainage flow away from the foundation. Lots of landscaping and general cleanup has improved the looks dramatically of the whole property. (June 2008)
A house has been designated in Tripp for a low income family to purchase. It is in the process of being upgraded by volunteers and will be ready soon. It is located on main street and is in a good location for a small family. Call Jennifer at the Tripp City Finance Office at 935-1410.

Wow, that house is really looking good and the whole area around it is so cleaned up. It will be exciting too see a new family move into it soon. makes our main street look better already

We are wondering how things are going with this project - is the house completed? Has it been purchased?

The house on main street in Tripp that is being renovated is in the exciting last few stages…the outside area and lawn work is finished including new fill dirt to make the rain flow away from the house. The interior should be painted this week and some finishing touches inside. A new partial bathroom was added in the basement with a new tub and shower.

The house is done and has new owners before the volunteers were even fisnished with it…we welcome them to Tripp with their family of four!!!
